This is the start of our 3 Day, 4 night expedition into Denali's back country. You can see me here opening my "bear keg" which is basically a bear-proof container that any food or scented object must be placed inside of.
This is our bear safe campsite known as "the mushroom." Its a 12' rock with soft spongy ground with just enough room for our tents, felt like a hotel compared to our night on the glacier.
After swimming in a glacial pool we discovered this towering waterfall. Drinking from this pure source was a rare opportunity, delicious.
